Oneida Professional Services is seeking a highly motivated Plumber that will support the Naval Base Ventura County (NVBC). This is a full-time position. 

Responsibilities: 

• Preventative Maintenance (PM) functions will be performed on a continual basis when urgent and emergency tickets are not in progress. Incumbent will need to be familiar with or able to research applicable Unified Facilities Criteria, International Plumbing Codes, and Whole Building Design Guide. 
• PM items include but not limited to: back flow prevention testing; Locate, tag, and exercise main isolation valves, PRVs (Pressure Reducing Valves), and zone valves to prevent seizing in older piping networks; inspecting bathrooms for equipment function; and developing inspection profiles for each building within the applicable Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The CMMS may require general understanding of Maximo and Archibus.
• Reactive and Corrective Maintenance responses will be prioritized by management or treated with first in first out by accepted urgent, emergent and routine definitions when management is not available. 
• Tasking includes Rapid response to ruptured or leaking lines; overflowing fixtures; clogged fixtures; poor or inadequate system pressure; locating and mapping sources of blockages; and malfunctioning fixtures. 
• The use of augers, snakes, chemical treatments or cameras may be necessary. 

Compensation: 

$29.65/ Hour (plus fringe)

Requirements: 

• At least 2 years of experience in Plumbing.
• Secret Clearance preferred but not required.
• License preferred but not required.
