The Inside Sales Representative completes sales of the company’s products and services Globally. The Inside Sales Representative ensures consistent customer relationships and adheres to Tread quoting and customer service standards, identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 1-3 years relevant experience
· Experience in Industrial Manufacturing preferred
· Experience working at the highest and lowest levels of an organization; possesses strong collaborative skills
· Professional appearance and manner with sensitivity to other cultures and customs
· Knowledge of manufacturing information systems (Visual, MRP are particularly helpful)
NECESSARY SKILLS:
· Ability to remain focused on the customer’s experience with Tread and perform all duties with the customer’s interest in mind
· Exceptionally strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with superior vocabulary and grammar skills and excellent interpersonal skills
· Develops solid action plans and prioritizes work while maintaining the ability to adapt and react in an environment of constant change
· Attention to details in work, demeanor, and appearance; inclination for consistency in documents, written and verbal correspondence, and demeanor
· Sound decision-making without guidance or instruction
· Ability to read and research abstract topics and monitor various data over time
· Enthusiasm for continuous learning and skill building
· Must be able to perform each essential duty at a high level and thrive under tight deadlines and pressure from above
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific responsibilities may include:
• Collaborates with Sr. VP of Sales and Service in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
• Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
• Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with Sr. VP of Sales.
• Manages and develops customer relationships
• Collaborates with the Leadership Team to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
• Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
