We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support our corporate finance team with a strong focus on financial planning and analysis. This role will partner closely with corporate leadership and provide financial support to laboratory operations as needed.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis, with a solid grounding in accounting principles. This person will help deliver timely financial insights, improve reporting processes, and support sound business decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Support the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and financial planning for corporate departments and assigned lab operations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting packages
• Analyze budget-to-actual results and explain key variances, trends, risks, and opportunities
• Build and maintain financial models for headcount, operating expenses, capital spending, and scenario planning
• Partner with business leaders to monitor spending, evaluate performance, and support decision-making
• Develop meaningful reporting and dashboards to improve visibility into financial and operational performance
• Assist with leadership and management reporting as needed
Corporate and Lab Finance Support
• Serve as a finance partner to corporate functions and provide analytical support to laboratory operations as needed
• Support financial review of revenue, expenses, productivity, and other performance indicators
• Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, accounting, and leadership to gather data and validate assumptions
• Identify process improvement opportunities related to planning, reporting, and financial analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements (GAAP exposure preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• CPA, CMA, or MBA
• Experience in healthcare, laboratory, multi-site, or decentralized operations
• Experience with NetSuite, planning tools, or business intelligence/dashboard platforms (e.g., Power BI)
