Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a Requirements Manager to join our team for an exciting and long-term program supporting IGEMS and MICT projects. This position is primarily remote with some travel to SIPR locations.
The Requirements Manager will play a critical role in ensuring customer and user needs are accurately captured, documented, and communicated throughout the software development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Serve as the primary focal point for the user community by facilitating weekly requirements, stakeholder, and technical interchange meetings.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the product under development, including roadmap, requirements, status, and schedule.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and customers to translate requirements, clarify user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Define, track, and manage the requirements management process, including Baseline Change Requests (BCRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Software Problem Reports (SPRs)
- Facilitate weekly Agile ceremonies, providing guidance on DRs and clarifying acceptance criteria on BCRs
- Support development and integration testing activities as needed
- Manage the user community requirements intake process through the help desk, translating requests into actionable items for development team review
- Maintain a well-organized product backlog with clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Submit Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) with each deployment / as needed
- Travel on-site occasionally to support requirements validation, upload CDRL documentation, and potentially assist with testing activities

Minimum Candidate Requirements
Candidate must be U.S. Citizen
Candidate must have Active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum
Candidate must have Bachelor's Degree
Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US government Common Access Card (CAC)
Candidate must have ability to obtain SIPRNet access and willing/able to travel to and access SIPR facilities as required
Candidate must have 7+ years' experience with the following:
- Multitasking and working effectively in fast-paced environments
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with time management skills
- Utilizing Agile methodologies
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
- Presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency with Jira
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred skills (not required)
- Previous experience serving as a Product Owner or Requirements Manager
- Experience supporting DoD government customers
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Experience supporting software development programs throughout the system development lifecycle
- Experience with IGEMS and MICT
- Scrum Product Owner certifications
- Preference for a candidate local to Dayton OH, Montgomery AL, or Albuquerque NM
