Description

 The Intake Coordinator (IC) serves as the initial point of contact for Autism Care Partners’ callers who are interested in accessing services through the inquiry line. The Intake Coordinator will triage calls to determine if ACP can provide services and, if applicable, will coordinate with the family to gather initial information for documentation and will follow up according to the intake workflow. The IC will work as part of an intake team to ensure family needs are being met, including establishing and maintaining direct contact and relationships with families as they go through the intake, evaluation, and assessment process. 


**Must live in MA, NH, RI, VT or NY**


Essential Functions

  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Answer inbound phone calls from families inquiring about services available at ACP.
  • Enter patient information into Central Reach.
  • Conduct patient follow up or other intake workflow items as directed by the Director of Payor Relations.
  • Work collaboratively with other intake coordinators and Family Liaisons to communicate patient needs or follow up items.
  • Assist as necessary on projects and initiatives.
  • Take on new responsibilities as determined by organizational growth and change

  • Excellent customer service skills including active listening, adaptability, attention to detail, collaboration, conflict resolution?
  • Attention to detail in following procedures and high degree of accountability for follow up to ensure excellent customer service

  • Weekly and as needed with supervisor


Work Environment

  • This role is a remote/hybrid role.


Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Education and Experience

  •  Associate Degree in Healthcare or Administrative field 

Additional Requirements

  • Employees in this role are considered essential workers as part of the critical infrastructure.
  • No prior criminal history.
  • Ability to utilize technology.
  • Proficient computer skills- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Windows, specifically Excel
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment.
