Waterford is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Dietary Aide to join our team. Dietary Aides play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by serving meals, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.


No experience? No problem! We will train the right person. This is a great opportunity for students, those looking for part-time work, or anyone who enjoys helping others.


Responsibilities

  • Serve meals and beverages to residents in a courteous and professional manner. 
  • Assist with meal preparation and food portioning. 
  • Set up and clean dining rooms before and after meals. 
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. 
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures. 
  • Stock supplies and assist with kitchen organization. 
  • Interact positively with residents and provide excellent customer service. 
  • Assist with special events, holiday meals, and resident celebrations as needed. 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old. 
  • Ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check (if age applicable). 
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills. 
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds. 
  • Food service experience preferred but not required.
