L&F Distributors LLC is a premier wholesale beverage distributor serving Texas and surrounding markets. We partner with leading national and international wine brands to deliver quality products and exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Wine Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team.


Position Overview

The Wine Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with retail and on-premise customers while driving sales growth of our wine portfolio. This role combines account management, territory development, and product expertise to achieve sales goals and expand market presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting new accounts.
  • Promote and sell a diverse portfolio of wine products to retailers, restaurants, and bars.
  • Execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct product tastings, staff training, and promotional events.
  • Ensure proper product placement, merchandising, and inventory levels in accounts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to support brand initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, orders, and customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and state/local regulations regarding alcohol sales.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • 1–3+ years of sales experience (wine, spirits, or beverage industry strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Ability to lift and move product cases (up to 50 lbs.) as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • WSET, CMS, or similar wine certification (a plus).
  • Experience in the beverage distribution industry or hospitality sector.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools.
