Must have a 10 year minimum electrical background. Must have a strong electrical background with: Punch press controls, Programming PLC’s and associated equipment, Motor drive controls, Automated equipment and Robot controls. Must be able to draw electrical prints. Must know how to build control panels. Must have a strong understanding of various types of sensors. Must be familiar with the National electrical code. 

Responsibilities

• Comply with all the Anchor Principles and Guidelines, as well as Anchor polices and procedures.
• Engineering and development of electrical systems for new and existing equipment.
• Develop PLC programs for new and existing equipment.
• Monitor costs of electrical supplies being purchased to ensure Anchor receives the best price.
• Troubleshoot and repair of electrical breakdowns on all equipment.
• Responsible to keep all machine PLC programs backed up and properly saved to the network.
• Provide training to new hires and acclimate to Anchor’s procedures. 
• Update manager on status of projects and breakdowns.
• Serve as back up to Maintenance Manager and Production Supervisor in their absence.
• Assist Maintenance Manager with performance evaluations of Maintenance staff.
• Work with all Maintenance personnel on projects and breakdowns.
• All positions at Anchor are cross functional; may work in other departments as directed by management
