Our IT team plays a critical role in supporting over 600 employees across multiple offices and maintaining a secure, scalable environment.
The IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of firm technology assets, including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and secure disposition.
This role ensures the firm maintains accurate inventory records, cost-effective procurement practices, and a strong device compliance posture across all endpoints. The position will work closely with IT Support, Security, and leadership to support operational efficiency, audit readiness, and end-user productivity.
Primary Job Duties:
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Own end-to-end lifecycle management of IT assets (laptops, desktops, and peripherals)
- Track asset assignment, transfers, returns, and decommissioning activities
- Ensure secure data sanitization and proper disposal of retired assets
- Maintain a centralized, accurate asset inventory system
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage procurement workflows, including request intake, quoting, approvals, and purchasing
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware acquisition, pricing, and contract terms
- Track and manage warranty, support contracts, and renewals
- Oversee RMA and warranty claim processes to ensure timely resolution
Inventory & Audit Governance
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Maintain asset naming standards and ownership records
- Support internal and client-driven audits by providing asset documentation and reporting
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Endpoint & Device Management
- Administer endpoint lifecycle processes using tools such as Microsoft Intune and NinjaOne
- Support device provisioning, enrollment, patching, and retirement
- Maintain baseline configurations and standard device models
- Monitor device compliance (encryption, OS version, health status) and remediate issues
Support & Operations
- Assist with ticket triage related to asset requests, device issues, and lifecycle events
- Support onboarding and offboarding workflows (equipment readiness and recovery)
- Provide clear communication and guidance to end users regarding device usage and transitions
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base documentation for asset processes
- Produce regular reports on asset inventory, lifecycle status, and compliance metrics
- Track asset utilization and provide recommendations to optimize cost and efficiency

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in IT asset management, endpoint management, or procurement
Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager (preferred)
- Familiarity with RMM tools such as NinjaOne
- Experience with asset management systems
- Knowledge of hardware lifecycle and vendor management
- Understanding of device compliance and security best practices
