AMHC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed behavioral health professional to join our team as a Per Diem Outpatient Therapist-Consultant in Caribou.

What You'll Do
As a Per Diem Outpatient Therapist-Consultant, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Deliver individual, family, couples, and group therapy services
- Provide clinical consultation and diagnostic guidance to staff and treatment teams
- Participate in crisis consultation and support services as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation
- Support staff development, clinical training, and supervision of interns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, hospitals, community agencies, and law enforcement partners
- Provide educational presentations and behavioral health outreach within the community
- Deliver specialized behavioral health services consistent with your professional licensure
What We're Looking For
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Current State of Maine professional licensure in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another applicable behavioral health discipline
- Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Strong clinical judgment and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to ethical practice and person-centered care
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment

· This position requires a Master’s Degree in social work or a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology.
· Active licensure as a Social Worker, Counseling Professional, or Clinical Psychologist in the State of Maine.
