AMHC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed behavioral health professional to join our team as a Per Diem Outpatient Therapist-Consultant in Caribou.

What You'll Do

As a Per Diem Outpatient Therapist-Consultant, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Deliver individual, family, couples, and group therapy services
• Provide clinical consultation and diagnostic guidance to staff and treatment teams
• Participate in crisis consultation and support services as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation
• Support staff development, clinical training, and supervision of interns
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, hospitals, community agencies, and law enforcement partners
• Provide educational presentations and behavioral health outreach within the community
• Deliver specialized behavioral health services consistent with your professional licensure

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Current State of Maine professional licensure in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another applicable behavioral health discipline
• Experience conducting behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Strong clinical judgment and consultation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to ethical practice and person-centered care
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment

· This position requires a Master’s Degree in social work or a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. 

· Active licensure as a Social Worker, Counseling Professional, or Clinical Psychologist in the State of Maine.
