The East Regional Sales Manager– Betco/Basic Coatings is responsible for achieving the annual revenue plan across a territory through virtual and strategic selling. This role aligns with the overall corporate strategy of market penetration, focusing on Betco-branded and private-label chemical and Basic Coatings product lines, primarily through the Jan/San and wood floor channel. The position drives end-customer demand, supports distributor growth, and partners closely with field and internal teams to accelerate sales performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Drive end-customer sales to expand account penetration through virtual and remote engagement.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth objectives.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Review sales penetration across key product categories and build targeted sales plans.
- Achieve annual distribution and end-customer sales targets.
- Partner with Regional Sales Directors and Field Sales Support teams to support initiatives and key opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans with distributors.
- Implement pricing strategies and contract management for distribution partners and end customers.
- Execute promotional programs provided by the marketing team.
- Manage promotional spending (PFA) to achieve sales goals.
- Utilize CRM to track sales activity, customer interactions, distributor feedback, and competitive insights.
- Provide sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Ensure consistent communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management, and Operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with a focus on Sales.
- 3-5 years of progressive sales management experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience using iPhones and laptops for business applications.
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Ability to manage and grow accounts in a virtual selling environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Travel required.
