Reports to: General Manager
Customary Day/Hours: Monday – Friday. General daily hours 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM (Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, emergency calls, and overtime as necessary).
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician with a minimum of three years of experience in restaurant facilities management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on repairs and maintenance throughout the building and equipment. Prior experience in restaurant equipment, HVAC, and refrigeration repair is preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Complete minor repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
- Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and workspace setup.
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, lighting, and building systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, air handlers, exhaust fans, unit heaters, and split systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as directed.
- Maintain facility grounds, including seasonal upkeep and minor landscaping duties.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Assist with emergency response and facility-related incidents as needed.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in facility management or related field preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience in facility management, operations or project management required

- Experience performing basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and alert leadership when needed.
- Ability to function independently and intuitively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise reports and presentations that are understandable by the target audience.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with diverse groups and foster a cooperative work environment.
- Ability to manage confidential information and maintain its integrity.
- Strong computer skills that include proficiency with MS Office and Google applications.
- Proficiency in restaurant equipment repairs preferred.
- Competency in safely operating various equipment and personal hand tools and comply with all safety and quality requirements while performing your job.
Language Skills
Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. Bilingual skills preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Range: $30.00 – $40.00, based on experience and qualifications.
