Position Summary:

Are you interested in an opportunity to contribute to global HPV prevention and cancer control efforts? Our team is seeking an Associate, HPV Prevention to support the Global HPV Consortium (GHC) and broader HPV Prevention initiatives. Working closely with the Senior Associate and cross-functional teams, the Associate will support research, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, data management and visualization, technical communications, and programmatic activities that advance global HPV prevention efforts.


The Associate, HPV Prevention will conduct literature reviews and environmental scans, support stakeholder mapping and engagement activities, maintain project databases and tracking tools, coordinate webinars and meetings, assist with survey development, dissemination, and data collection, develop briefing materials and reports, and contribute to donor reporting and knowledge-sharing products. In addition, the Associate will collaborate across HPV Prevention and Global Immunization initiatives to support organizational priorities and project deliverables.


Responsibilities:


Programmatic

  • Contribute to implementation of activities associated with the Global HPV Consortium and related HPV Prevention team projects in close coordination with team members and leadership 
  • Conduct reviews of peer-reviewed and grey literature to support project activities and resource development
  • Assist with stakeholder mapping and maintenance of contact databases, key informant interview (KII) databases, and other project tracking tools 
  • Provide support for survey development, dissemination, and data collection activities, as needed 
  • Support planning and execution of webinars, meetings, and other programmatic events, including preparation of materials and coordination with speakers and participants 
  • Collect, compile, and organize data and support data visualization activities for project implementation, reporting, and knowledge-sharing efforts 
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, reports, and other technical and programmatic documents 
  • Draft and edit written outputs, including summaries, briefs, reports, and meeting notes
  • Support activities to ensure project objectives and deliverables are completed within established timelines

Partnerships and Teams

  • Support engagement with GHC members, partners, and external stakeholders through meeting coordination and follow-up activities 
  • Contribute to project updates and reports for funding organizations and partners by preparing presentation materials, compiling information, and providing administrative support 
  • Prepare for and participate in team meetings, including documenting discussions, action items, and workstream updates, as needed 
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to support cross-functional projects and stay informed of relevant organizational and project developments


Operations

  • Provide administrative, logistical, and technology support across HPV Prevention initiatives, as needed 
  • Maintain organized project files, databases, and documentation to support efficient program operations 
  • Other related duties, as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; master’s degree a plus 
  • 2+ years relevant experience; experience in HPV vaccination programs or cancer prevention initiatives, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word) and Zoom video conferencing
  • Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of global immunization programs, public health systems, and/or vaccine delivery strategies, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, preferred.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and project documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Commitment to health equity and improving immunization access in underserved populations.

Sabin’s philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased, equitable, competitive compensation and benefits. Using benchmarking and salary survey data, the starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.00 - $29.00. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, certifications/degree. As a grant-funded organization, Sabin actively seeks funding for existing and new programs.

Salary Description
$25-$29 per hour
