Leland Management is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Clubhouse Janitorial Associate at Heritage Isle Clubhouse, located at 6800 Heritage Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32940.

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Position Details

• Location: Heritage Isle Clubhouse
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Compensation: $18.00 per hour
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets throughout the clubhouse.
• Remove trash from all designated areas to the dumpster.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restroom facilities daily, including floors, countertops, mirrors and other assigned tasks.
• Clean interior and exterior windows as assigned.
• Dust, disinfect, and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Unlock and secure clubhouse doors as required.
• Inspect clubhouse rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and proper appearance.
• Assist with additional cleaning and facility maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Communication Skills

• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Capable of following written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong communication skills with residents, guests, and team members.

Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, residents, and visitors.
• Willingness to help when needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Attention to Detail

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
• Ability to identify and address areas requiring attention.

Organizational Skills

• Ability to manage daily responsibilities efficiently.
• Capable of following established schedules while adapting to changing priorities and assignments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stretch, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
