Master Service Planner
Fully Remote
Description

We are seeking a highly organized Master Services Planner to support the Power Solutions Division through accurate forecasting, disciplined master scheduling, and clear coordination between manufacturing, backlog, and field service leadership.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

· Backlog & master scheduling control and leadership

· Manage the overall initial loading of the PSD project backlog, primarily focusing on projects received by the factory for field assembly by PSD.

· Load open-market booked orders into the master schedule, strictly adhering to established buffer and deployment guidelines, overriding factory project disruption or rescheduling.

· Populate a master schedule for the service operations team to execute systematically, ensuring timelines are realistic and avoiding the overextension of traveling employees.

· Ensure complete communication alignment and real-time adjustment and confirmation of mutually beneficial customer, factory, and PDS services expectations.

Cross-Functional Coordination

· Act as the definitive single point of contact between manufacturing factories and field service leadership.

· Provide the most accurate, up-to-date backlog forecast possible with all relevant stakeholders.

· Track transformer shipping schedules and exact arrival times to ensure total operational readiness.

· Lead total alignment of expectations between delivery and assembly.

Logistics Management

· Manage the delivery of transformer oil from suppliers directly to individual project sites where PSD is providing assembly or oil    management solutions.

· Communicate oil logistics and delivery updates directly with crew leaders, project managers, or regional service leaders as required.

Out of Scope (Explicit Exclusions)

To maintain focus on high-level master scheduling and forecasting accuracy, this position is explicitly exempt from the following duties:

· Individual Project Execution: Will not execute or plan the granular, day-to-day details of individual projects.

· Project Completion: Will not be responsible for closing out jobs.

· Displacement Decisions: Will not make decisions regarding job displacement or tactical resource reassignment.

· Unplanned/Post-Installation Service: Will not cover the scheduling of warranty work, field defect service calls, or special emergency projects.

Key Objectives

· Accuracy: Achieve the highest possible precision regarding transformer and accessory shipping and site arrival dates.

· Stability: Deliver a reliable schedule framework that allows service operations to function predictably without exploiting field personnel or missing our commitment to our internal and external customers.

· Alignment: Ensure seamless, single-source information flow between production facilities and field execution teams.
