Job Summary

The Senior Information Systems Application Analyst is a highly experienced technical expert and strategic partner responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing enterprise application systems, with a strong emphasis on FACS and related technologies. This role operates as one of two senior Information Systems primary points of contact (POCs) for the business and clients, providing consultative guidance, technical leadership, and end-to-end solution ownership.

While this role does not include direct people management responsibilities, it plays a critical role in influencing outcomes, leading complex initiatives, and ensuring alignment between client, business needs and technology solutions. The analyst is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and expertise, contributing to both day-to-day operations and long-term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Business Partnership & Point of Contact:

- Serve as a primary IS point of contact for client and business stakeholders, partnering closely to understand operational needs and deliver effective technology solutions.

- Provide consultative guidance on system capabilities, enhancements, and strategic improvements.

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Collaborate with IS leadership and peer senior analyst to ensure consistent prioritization, communication, and service delivery.


Application & System Expertise (FACS/ Focus):

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for FACS or comparable platforms.

- Perform advanced system analysis, solution design, and implementation of complex enhancements.

- Execute detailed data mapping, including creation and modification of tables, fields, and integrations.

- Lead upgrades, releases, and ongoing maintenance of systems and dialing platforms.


Advanced Technical Support & Issue Resolution:

- Serve as a senior escalation point for diagnosing and resolving complex issues.

- Monitor system performance and ensure stability and data integrity.

- Provide after-hours support as needed.


Technology Development & Continuous Improvement:

- Design and implement innovative solutions to improve performance and efficiency.

- Identify inefficiencies and recommend strategic improvements.


Project Leadership & Solution Delivery:

- Lead complex IS initiatives from concept through deployment.

- Ensure delivery on time and aligned with business objectives.


Reporting, Analytics & Data Management:

- Develop and maintain reporting systems and analyze data trends.

- Ensure data accuracy and compliance.


Onboarding & Business Integration:

- Support onboarding of new business through system configuration and integration.


Documentation & Vendor Collaboration:

- Maintain system documentation and collaborate with external vendors. 

Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive Information Systems, application support, application development, or systems analyst experience, including supporting enterprise-level business applications.
  • 5+ years of expert-level hands-on FACS experience required, including system configuration, troubleshooting, data mapping, reporting, integrations, and production support.
  • 3+ years of advanced SQL, database management, and data analysis experience, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system and data issues.
  • 3+ years of experience leading technology projects, system implementations, upgrades, or enterprise application enhancements from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Ability to act as a trusted business advisor with Senior level communication skill
  • Strong experience serving as a business-facing technical partner, translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions and communicating effectively with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, reporting platforms, dialer systems, or comparable operational technologies.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to technology systems and data management.
  • Experience with ARTIVA is strongly preferred.
  • Experience within healthcare revenue cycle management, collections, business process outsourcing (BPO), financial services, or other high-volume operational environments is preferred.

  • Serve as a trusted Information Systems partner and primary point of contact for business stakeholders, delivering responsive support and strategic technology guidance.
  • Lead complex application enhancements, system configurations, integrations, and technology initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation.
  • Maintain expert-level support and optimization of FACS and related systems, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, reporting accuracy, scalability, and overall business performance.
  • Deliver projects, upgrades, and client onboarding initiatives on time while maintaining high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
