Human Resources Coordinator
Description

• Primary interaction with employees asking for safety glasses, questions, etc.

• Maintain list of temporary personnel.

• Send hours for temporary employees to the respective agencies on a weekly basis.

• Coordination of all training records, including entering into Paylocity and hard copy files.

• Coordinate STAR card catalog and facilitate semi-annual redemption periods including ordering items, maintaining spreadsheets, and delivering items to employees.

• Maintain the employee information board for the most up to date information.

• Assist with maintenance of I9 forms and documentation.

• Create all new hire paperwork based on offer and ensure candidate completes on-boarding tasks such drug screening, background check, electronic on-boarding, and first day paperwork.  Also verify new hire paperwork including e-Verify.

• Coordinate new employee department orientation and training with the Supervisor including training schedule, IT checklist, etc.

• Set up and conduct new hire orientation and training schedules.  

• Work with the Wellness Coordinator and HR staff to coordinate HRA’s and other wellness-related programs.

• Coordinate all retirements including any celebration, paperwork, ordering clock, etc.

• Work on the Social Committee, Assisting the Social Committee with organizing and implementing employee social events.

• Assist HR Generalist with administrative safety duties such as hearing tests, vision tests, fork lift training, and others.

• Create, update and maintain all Employee Personnel and Medical Files using a Standard Operating Procedure for the location of items including scanning documents into personnel files.

• Administration of the Service Awards Program, employee gift selections and catalogs and coordination of the award with Management Team presentation.  Take the photos of the service award presentation and publishes the photos.

• Coordinating the newsletter committee by scheduling meetings, obtaining content, and ultimately producing the semi-annual company newsletter.  

• Primary monitor of attendance call-in line and contacting supervisors of call-ins.

• Run occasional company errands using company vehicle.

• Attend HR team or individual meetings and complete special projects or assignments as needed or requested.

• Adhere to company policies, emulate established HR values and proactively carry out agreed upon goals and objectives related to established company strategies.

• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· HR or Marketing coursework or degree preferred

· Minimum of four years experience in an office setting, preferably in an HR-related function OR combination of education and experience.
