Restaurant Cook - Confluence Hotel in Historic Downtown Hastings

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with hotel standards and guest preferences

- Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in a timely manner

- Assist in menu planning and suggest new culinary ideas to enhance guest satisfaction

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver excellent service

- Follow all health and safety regulations and hotel policies

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably in a hospitality setting

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Creativity and passion for culinary arts

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus
