Job Summary:

As an Aerial Lineman, you will support aerial telecommunications construction projects by performing pole transfers, strand placement, fiber installation, and related infrastructure work while maintaining safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform simple and complex pole transfers (Make Ready).
  • Place strand, including guys, bonds, and grounds.
  • Jig fiber/coax and lash or overlash fiber/coax over existing infrastructure.
  • Identify and install correct fiber storage loops.
  • Perform traffic control and maintain safe work zones.
  • Reconcile issued parts and materials daily.
  • Document and validate as-builts for new builds and plant modifications.
  • Complete daily work orders and crew checks.
  • Read and understand schematics and construction prints.
  • Work assigned shifts, including overtime when needed.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Pole climbing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to climb, bend, crawl, lift, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
