Job Summary:

As an HDD Locator, you will operate locating equipment and guide drill bore paths for underground utility installations while ensuring safety, accuracy, and project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate HDD Locator equipment.
• Plan and guide drill bore paths.
• Identify and monitor underground obstacles and utilities.
• Ensure utilities are properly located and potholed.
• Adapt to varying ground and weather conditions.
• Perform potholing, equipment setup, conduit placement, and pedestal installation.
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
• Maintain clean and organized jobsites.
• Track tools and materials.
• Meet project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience with HDD locating.
• Knowledge of underground construction and safety practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to perform demanding field work.
• Valid driver's license required; Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
