Crater
Description

The Crater is responsible for crating, uncrating, assembling and packaging of material, and relevant internal and external communication to the customer. The Crater will act as a driving force in providing a proactive safety culture while providing quality services to exceed the expectations of our customers.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Build crates to specifications using measuring tools and wood cutting machinery.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy. 

• Complete the packaging and crating of material in accordance with the established processes to ensure customer expectations for deadlines are met. 

• Respond to urgent requests and ensure completion of product based on priority.

• Communicate errors to ensure corrective actions are identified and implemented.

• Escalate recurring issues to the management.

• Attend facility safety meetings and training sessions.

• Recognize and abate hazards to drive the promotion of AW2’s safety program.

• Participate in physical inventory counting as assigned

• Accurately and timely complete tasks assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.


Experience:

• 1-2 years of warehouse or wood shop experience preferred.

• 1-2 years of power tools experience preferred.

• Willing to work flexible hours and weekends as required.


Work is performed in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, sawdust, wood debris, and other general shop conditions.
