Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, and building systems as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces and common areas
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies
- Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and maintenance planning
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance needs outside of regular hours
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
