JOB SUMMARY:
The Custodial Team Lead works closely with the Facilities Support Supervisor and is responsible for helping lead and motivate a large custodial crew at the Utah Mammoth Practice Facility. This person understands the overall goals of these facilities and manages the day-to-day operations to meet those goals. The Custodial Team Lead is jointly responsible with the Facilities Support Supervisor for a “show-ready” appearance and high standard of cleanliness. This position will be scheduled for either Wednesday-Sunday or Thursday-Monday.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in leading, managing, and motivating a team of custodial staff.
- Strive to maintain and preserve the cleanest practice facility in the NHL.
- Work side-by-side with custodial staff to accomplish tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Adapt the timing and tasks of the workload daily to meet changing needs.
- Respond to the needs and demands of the crew and facilities as challenges arise.
- Help to train new employees how to complete tasks.
- Assist in control of sanitation throughout the building.
- Report needed repairs to manager.
- Ensure that high quality control standards are met for events and day-to-day operations.
- Operate with an emphasis on safety for employees, teams, and guests.
- Protect the reputation of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- High School education or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years custodial experience preferred.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
- This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
- This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
- This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
