POSITION SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of Human Resources programs and services while promoting a positive employee experience. Coordinates recruitment, onboarding, employee records administration, leave management, compliance tracking, employment engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and employee communications. Serves as a primary Human Resources resource for employees and leaders by providing guidance, support, and timely follow-up regarding Human Resources processes, programs, and services. Partners closely with the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources to ensure effective execution of HR initiatives and organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
This individual must possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration, along with two to four years of progressive Human Resources experience. Must be highly professional, service-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with employees and leaders at all levels. Must demonstrate sound judgment, discretion, and a high degree of confidentiality when handling sensitive information, while effectively managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, initiative, adaptability, and proficiency with technology and Human Resources systems are essential. This individual is a collaborative team player who is passionate about Human Resources, committed to continuous learning, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional employee experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires frequent communication with leaders, staff, and others outside of our organization. Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate accurate information. Must be able to view a terminal screen, operate a computer keyboard, and learn a variety of high-level operational details in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment. Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Must be able to frequently move about the office to access files and operate office machinery. Ability to travel to branch locations is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support with corporate recruiting efforts by managing job postings and applicant tracking, conducting phone screenings, coordinating and assisting in interviews, conducting reference checks, facilitating background investigations, maintaining candidate communications, and attending corporate recruiting events
- Coordinate onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation and onboarding packets, and coordinating start date details with the Training and Development team
- Conduct new hire follow-up with training evaluations
- Maintain employee records and coordinate HRIS updates, or find new ways to implement new HRIS processes
- Track compliance requirements
- Support leave administration and tracking
- Maintain employee documentation and personnel files
- Coordinate employee recognition programs and help provide support for engagement initiatives
- Create and maintain intranet content
- Coordinate Job Shadowing Program
- Maintain Human Resources metrics and collaborate with the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources on process improvements and goal setting
- Assist in preparing reports for audits
- Additional duties as assigned
