Sales Assistant
Description

We are always looking for talented Sales Assistants to join our team. While we may not have an immediate opening, we regularly hire for this role and will reach out when a position becomes available. 

  

As a key member of the Sales team, the Sales Assistant works closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to support the planning and execution of sales meetings and presentations, manage product data and samples, coordinate logistics, and serve as a liaison between internal departments, customers, and manufacturing partners. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 


Key Responsibilities


  Sales & Merchandising:

  • Asist sales lead in creating line structures based on customer sales analysis and line plans. 
  • Collaborate with PD/Design, Sourcing, Packaging and Production teams on new product development; serve as a liaison between TNC Living      and accounts. 
  • Work with the Sourcing team on all pricing; review with Sales lead and maintain margin sheets. 
  • Prepare customer quotes, sell  price communications, and presentations/line sheets. 
  • Prepare for market week, including price sheets, presentations, and  samples.  
  • Attend market week meetings, both in-person and virtual. 
  • Add new sold items to deal sheets; update and maintain internal deal sheets for all sold programs. 

  Account Management Support

  • Communicate daily with customers, cross-functional teams, and overseas agents. 
  • Communicate order updates, delays, vessel release requests, and other status updates to the buying team. 
  • Provide Customer Service and Production teams with new purchase order information. 
  • Complete item agreements as requested. 
  • Prepare meeting recaps and ensure follow-up and follow-through with customer buying teams and internal cross-functional teams. 
  • Prepare and attend monthly budget meetings with sales lead. 

  Order Processing & Item Set-Up

  • Process orders and manage item set-up. 
  • Create, publish, and maintain Top Line Sheets (TLs). 
  • Work with PD/Design to create and maintain WFX specs;  update specs to be RH ready and maintained in WFX. 
  • Manage Pre-Production and Top-of-Production samples from receipt, approvals,  tracking, and maintenance. 
  • Perform data entry, product status updates, and file maintenance. 

  Sample Management

  • Manage all sample requests and meeting recaps and follow-up. 
  • Coordinate all photography needs related to samples and products. 

  Marketing & Advertising Support

  • Support sell price changes, load changes, and markdown (MD) support. 
  • Work with sales to manage marketing funding requested by customer buying teams; and help to communicate requests to accounting. 

Logistics & Production Support

  • Provide logistics and production support as needed. 
  • Support WFX to NetSuite workflows as assigned.  
  • Perform archiving and general administrative tasks. 
Requirements
  •  1–2   years of retail or wholesale experience. 
  • Ability  to multi-task and prioritize with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills. 
  • Strong  team player with a collaborative, positive attitude. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills. 
  • Ability to learn new software applications and systems quickly. 
Salary Description
$30 - $35/hour
