Contract Specialist
Summary/Objective:
Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) is an expert in industrial automation and electric motor solutions, with the benefit of being a full line electrical distributor. EECO provides a combination of capabilities to our OEM and Industrial customers, including onsite assessments, performance evaluation, data driven recommendations, repair options, and supply chain optimization.
The Customer Contract Specialist is responsible for managing relationships with customers who have purchased Rockwell Automation contracts. This role guides customers through the full contract lifecycle — from onboarding to renewal — ensuring they are actively using their contracted services and realizing measurable value from their Rockwell investment. Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, contract retention, and revenue growth.
Qualification Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree preferred–OR–equivalent combination of skills, experience, or education.
- Experience in customer success, account management, or consulting roles.
· Ability to speak with customers, instilling confidence and credibility.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret customer data, usage patterns with attention to detail and a focus on driving revenue.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Demonstrates ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to quickly react and respond to urgent customer needs, ensuring timely and quality responses.
· Willing to continuously learn and improve technical competency.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for renewing customer contracts on time, following up on any missed or delayed renewals, and ensuring the total revenue from assigned customers is maintained or grows over time.
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and reporting within CRM systems.
- Communicate value delivered to customers on a periodic cadence using quarterly business review methodology and other means of communication/cadences.
- Utilize the LAER Model (Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew) for customer onboarding, customer adoption, contract expansion and ultimately contract renewals.
- Collaborate with sales and account managers to identify new and cross-selling opportunities.
- Align services contract capabilities with customer goals to enhance adoption and satisfaction.
