. Position Summary
The Technical Supporter is responsible for supporting the Technical Team’s daily on site operations, primarily including sample production support, sample warehouse management, and sample shipment coordination.
This position supports technical team members by managing raw materials for sample production, checking the daily sample production schedule, assisting during sample production activities, organizing and maintaining sample storage areas, and supporting internal and external sample movement.
The position may require overtime work when needed.
2. Key Responsibilities
Sample Production Support
- Support the Technical Team during sample production activities.
- Manage raw materials required for sample production, including pigments, fabrics, and other related materials.
- Check and confirm the daily sample production schedule.
- Attend sample production activities and assist technical team members as needed.
- Help ensure that sample production is carried out according to the planned schedule and internal requirements.
Sample Warehouse Management
- Organize samples after sample production is completed.
- Palletize completed samples and arrange them properly in the sample warehouse.
- Maintain and update the sample list after samples are produced or shipped.
- Manage sample storage areas to ensure samples are properly stored, organized, and easy to locate.
- Manage long-term storage samples, including samples stored in outdoor warehouse areas.
Sample Shipment and Material Movement
- Move samples internally and externally as requested by the Technical Team.
- Prepare samples for shipment to internal departments, customers, suppliers, or external partners.
- Perform sample splitting or binding when needed.
- Ensure samples are properly packed, labeled, and handled before shipment.
- Move sample rolls weighing up to 25 lbs manually or with the support of material-handling equipment.
- Use assisting equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, hoists, or other approved equipment when necessary.
3. Knowledge and Skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills for maintaining sample lists, inventory lists, and raw material records.
- Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills for preparing simple reports or sample-related documentation.
- Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.
- If the candidate does not have forklift certification, the company will support the candidate in obtaining internal forklift certification.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with technical team members, production, warehouse, and related departments.
- Basic understanding of sample handling, labeling, storage, and shipment processes is preferred.
4. Physical Demands
- The position requires field work for at least two-thirds of working time.
- The position requires minimal lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- The position may require moving sample rolls manually or with the support of assisting equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hoists.
- The position requires standing, walking, bending, and handling samples during daily operations.
- The position requires regular and reliable attendance.
