EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. This CNC Machinist Operator will be responsible for the CNC manufacturing of precision components on CNC Lathes.
Primary Job Duties:
- CNC Machine experience required
- Lathe experience with live tooling (Y axis) and sub-spindle
- Read and interpret drawings
- Read micrometer and other precision instruments
- Calculate/adjust machine settings
- Identify/solve problems
- Training/ Mentoring – Learn everything you need to know about the production process and enjoy a variety of cross-training opportunities.
- High School diploma/GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Fluent in Shop Math.
- Minimum of one year of shop experience.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods.
- Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
- Solid work history.
- Must be able to frequently: push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see general and close up, hear, speak, use motor coordination - dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot and use of hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers and arm(s) in any direction.
- Must be able to occasionally: kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs.
