Your Purpose as a Reconditioning Manager:

  • Lead the daily operations of the detail department, including coaching, scheduling, performance management, and employee development.
  • Oversee vehicle reconditioning and detailing processes to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and meet company quality standards.
  • Manage internal repair orders from creation through completion, including preparing estimates, coordinating approvals, and ensuring accurate documentation and invoicing.
  • Partner with the sales and service teams to coordinate vehicle readiness and ensure timely completion of repairs and reconditioning activities.
  • Monitor workflow between the detail department, service department, and outside vendors to maximize efficiency and vehicle turnaround times.
  • Maintain quality control standards while fostering a positive, team-first culture and exceptional guest experience.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. 
  • Previous experience in automotive reconditioning, detailing, service operations, or dealership operations preferred but not required. 
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience required. 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience managing repair orders, repair estimates, and vehicle workflow preferred. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to coach, develop, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple vehicles, repair orders, and competing deadlines. 
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest and employee experiences.
