Description


Join our team at Cobalt Benefits Group and start an exciting new career in employee benefits solutions. As an Eligibility Benefits Representative, you’ll play an important role in helping us offer customized, self-funded insurance options to our clients and members.


Reporting to the Director of Enrollment and Premium Billing, the Enrollment Representative will be responsible for processing enrollments from plan participants. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with health care and/or health insurance and a can-do attitude, with an affinity to provide top notch service to our members, clients, and partners. The successful Representative is a self-motivated, quick-learning multitasker with superior written and verbal communication skills, who works well individually and as an integral part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The position requires a high level of accuracy and the desire to work cooperatively with others to ensure superior service to our participants.


Responsibilities

  • Assist external and internal customers with enrollment-related enquiries.
  • Support internal teams with New Group Implementation.
  • Gather and organize documents for internal and external audits.
  • Review and process enrollment questions and appeals per plan guidelines.
  • Provide excellent client services when communicating with members and vendors.
  • Process matters related to coordination of benefits, dependent maximum age, and open enrollment.
  • File, record, and submit both electronic and paper records.
  • Support the organization’s vision, team and aid in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Previous customer focused work experience.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with medical terminology desired.
  • Strong communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented, and collaborate with multiple groups.
