Maintenance Inventory Coordinator
Description

Hours:  Monday – Friday:  8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The responsibilities of this role include managing the inventory control system maintaining physical parts inventory, purchase equipment parts, managing department spare parts budget and making recommendations for improvement as necessary.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS POSITION

· Build and maintain inventory levels in the maintenance management software.

· Run inventory stock level reports. 

· Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

· Works directly with vendors to source quotes and purchase parts.

· Ability to develop, create, and close work orders within the maintenance management software.

· Develops and maintains a preventative maintenance program.

· Works closely with all maintenance personnel to ensure equipment uptime.

· Maintains a clean and organized shop & spare parts areas.

· Works with all departments to meet company objectives as it relates to equipment maintenance.

· Maintains knowledge of industry trends and adheres to all state and federal food requirements.

· Performs other related duties as directed by management.

· Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and possess good organizational skills.

· Must be able to perform all required duties safely and report any unsafe conditions to management, supervisor or lead.


Requirements

Requirements:

· 3+ years’ experience in maintenance production or manufacturing maintenance or a 2+ year degree in applied technology.

· Knowledge of industrial maintenance and machinery in a manufacturing environment is a must. 

· Experience with a Maintenance Management program (eMaint) is a plus. 

· Moderate troubleshooting and problem solving skills. · Maintain a safe work environment and adheres to all company safety policies. · Ability to use measuring tools and basic math skills.

· Strong written and verbal communications skills. · Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 

· Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Redzone, Nav. 

· Must be able to follow instructions, complete tasks on time and get along with co-workers. 

· Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. \

· Ability to work individually and in a team setting. 

· Ethical conduct

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, vision, read, write and hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift 50 lbs., climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
