What You'll Do
As a Leasing Consultant, you'll be the first impression of our community and a key contributor to its success.
You'll:
- Welcome prospects and build rapport while getting to know their needs and wants.
- Provide engaging community tours
- Showcase apartment homes and highlight the unique benefits of living at Indus Communities
- Convert qualified prospects into happy residents
- Process lease applications and assist with applicant screening
- Support resident move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
- Build positive relationships with residents and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist with marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and community events
- Conduct apartment inspections and help maintain community standards
- Partner with maintenance and management teams to deliver an exceptional resident experience

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least six months of relevant sales and customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Demonstrate an ability to support and contribute to the community team
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management technology platforms
- Assist with lease renewals by proactively communicating with residents and promoting retention
- Must possess a positive attitude and self-awareness to be fully present and engaging with team members, residents, and prospects, while exuding a smile and calm, pleasant demeanor
- Operate telephone, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and community software
Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in customer service and in sales and leasing across multifamily housing and/or hospitality
