POSITION: Strategic Plan Implementation Coordinator

PAY RATE: $22.18 - 26.10 per hour / Non-Exempt, 35 hours per week
*This is a 2-year, grant-funded position.

JOB SUMMARY:
In 2024, YWCA Greater Pittsburg began implementing its current strategic plan. Given recent shifts in the nonprofit and economic landscape, YWCA GP will carry the implementation of this plan through 2028. The organization seeks a detail-oriented team member with analytical skills to serve as the Strategic Plan Implementation Coordinator. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Strategic Plan Implementation Coordinator will assist the CEO with ensuring strategic priorities are on track to being met and preparing for the next strategic planning process. The Coordinator will also serve as the liaison between the YWCA GP leadership responsible for the strategic plan priorities and the CEO. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, able to communicate effectively (oral and written).
Strategic Plan Implementation:
The strategic priorities aim to:
- Define the focus of advocacy efforts and programs within the existing YWCA mission statement to build strong niches in focused efforts while increasing impact.
- Define YWCA GP’s role and expand partnerships to better serve the community and amplify community voices in advocacy efforts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide administrative support and project coordination for strategic priorities related to the Center for Race and Gender Equity (advocacy priorities and efforts) and Building Operations (use of facilities/properties and Property Committee).
- Work in collaboration with other YWCA Greater Pittsburgh focus areas to track and monitor strategic planning priorities progress.
- Develop written communications for each strategic planning priorities which highlight the progress and impact to date.
- Participate in the design and review of data collection protocols for strategic planning priorities.
- Provide administrative and meeting support for strategic planning priorities.
- Establish written communications that disseminate YWCA GP strategic planning priorities and findings from research, programs, and projects.
- Assist the CEO with communicating to local, regional, and state stakeholders and funders.
- Initiate project-related communication and requests for information and provide guidance to other focus areas and partners at the direction of the CEO.
- Manage tasks and deadlines for multiple projects which include working collaboratively with staff at all levels and troubleshooting potential issues.
- Reviews and tracks budgets and processes invoices or payments to be submitted to Finance.
- Display consistent professionalism and courtesy when interacting with internal and external customers.
- Ensure integrity to YWCA GP values.
- Participate in YWCA professional development opportunities successfully implementing new skills, knowledge, and procedures.
- Perform other such duties as may be assigned within the scope of the Executive Office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- A strong commitment to YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
- Skills: Advanced communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) that can unify/motivate people around our mission and a common cause or goal. Sensitivity, understanding, and open-mindedness toward diversity in all its forms.[AE1] Strong planning, coordinating, organizing, and multi-tasking skills.
- Education – Associate, Business or Technical degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years relevant experience.
- Experience – Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint along with data entry and management. Familiarity in managing group communication and logistical details of meetings and events.
