How You’ll Make a Difference
In this role, you will keep Mosaic’s patient accounts accurate and its revenue cycle running smoothly, processing payments, maintaining clean records, and managing collections so the pharmacy stays financially healthy.
Your work behind the scenes is what allows our pharmacists and care teams to stay focused on patients, helping medically complex seniors across the country get more from the medicines they take every day.
What You’ll Do
- Process incoming patient payments by debit and credit card, HSA, and check, and post them to the correct patient accounts.
- Prepare AR and other financial reports, and track payments to keep AR management and patient and accounting records accurate.
- Monitor reports to identify overdue accounts, and provide updates on collection status and outstanding balances.
- Update and maintain patient accounts with accurate balance information, and support collection efforts.
- Stay current on changing insurance regulations, billing requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA at all times.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
Compensation
The expected pay range for this position is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range is determined by factors including experience, skills, and internal equity.

What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2 or more years of experience in pharmacy billing, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle management.
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing processes, including Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Experience working with pharmacy management systems and billing software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company-sponsored visa sponsorship.
Preferred
- Virginia Pharmacy Technician license.
