JR Project Manager
Description

The JPM plays a key role in driving product sales within assigned territories; analyzes labor, materials, and time requirements to determine costs and provides quotes. The JPM will also coordinate/manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously. This position requires a proactive individual with strong phone-selling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities

  • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ needs through incoming calls and emails
  • Work closely with homeowners, landscape architects, designers, and contractors to assess project opportunities and recommend appropriate products
  • Capture and qualify new leads by collecting relevant customer information (name, contact details, project type, etc.) and assessing their potential for conversion
  • Review and understand specifications, plans, and other provided materials to assist in pricing projects
  • Compile all costing information into a quote with project descriptions and requirements specified on the contract page
  • Assist in revising quotes or providing alternative value-engineered options for customers who may be over budget
  • Track project progress through CRM; Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, accounts, and interactions in the CRM
  • Answer customer questions, resolve concerns, and provide additional information via phone and email; Explain product features and upsell when appropriate
  • Stay current on product knowledge, company offerings, and industry trends
  • Support the overall sales funnel by moving prospects from awareness to purchase readiness
  • Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams on projects when needed
  • Reach out to vendors for quotes
  • Review and understand specifications, plans, and other provided materials to assist in pricing projects

  • Provide engineering and manufacturing with all costing details and relevant preliminary CAD drawings for sold jobs
  • Produce 2D and 3D drawings and renderings on an as-needed basis to design consultants to supplement their quotes or for customer approval to send to manufacturing; Prepare drawings to update installation and assembly instruction manuals
  • Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams on projects when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of Project management experience (preferably in related field)
  • inside or field sales experience preferred
  • Estimating experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to manage multiple calls, emails, and tasks efficiently
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated professionalism, problem-solving ability, and analytical thinking


Preferred Requirements

CAD experience highly preferred
