Successful Retail Associates have these skills:

· Effective interpersonal communication

· Able to think on your feet and trouble shoot/problem solve

· Enjoy helping and working with a diverse population of staff and members

· Basic understanding and ability to work with Microsoft products and basic POS system


Key Accountabilities:

· Serve as first point of contact for Girl Scout inquiries

· Providing stellar customer service to all members, internal and external

· Work cross-functionally and collaboratively in a positive and supportive manner

· Manage inquiries from multiple communication channels

· Engage in problem solving and providing solutions, know when to elevate concerns to a manager and when to resolve independently

· Effectively complete standard retail processes like but not limited to: ringing sales/returns, cycle counts, physical inventory, ordering, open/close procedures, special order tracking, maintain sales floor merchandising to standards, and make bank deposits

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

· Four years customer engagement skills

· Two years traditional brick and mortar retail sales experience

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Basic computer skills: email, web navigation, POS systems, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams

· Shifts will be approximately seven hours Tuesday through Friday, and four hours on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior knowledge or experience with Girl Scouting is an advantage, but not required

· Prior knowledge of the CRM system Salesforce is a plus, but not required

· Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

$16.00 - $16.75 / hour
