Woerner Agribusiness is seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for employees across multiple locations, ensuring our technology systems operate efficiently and securely.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in IT, enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, provides exceptional customer service, and is eager to continue learning and growing in the field of information technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for employees in person, over the phone, and remotely.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, tablets, mobile devices, and other technology.
- Set up workstations, user accounts, email, and software for new employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, internet, and connectivity issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Assist users with Microsoft Business Central and other business applications.
- Perform routine software installations, system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance.
- Manage IT equipment inventory and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate repairs and warranty service with outside vendors when necessary.
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, including antivirus management, password security, and user awareness.
- Document support requests and maintain technical procedures.
- Travel periodically to company locations to provide on-site support.
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
Must be able to work varied hours / days including weekends, and holidays as needed.

Schedule:
- Day Shift - Monday to Friday
- 1–3 years of IT support experience, technical support, or a related field or an associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of networking, computer hardware, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently.
