We're looking for a Community Assistant to join our team at Verrado, a vibrant master-planned community in Buckeye known for its welcoming neighborhoods, gathering places, and strong sense of connection. In this role, you'll serve as a first point of contact for residents and guests while providing the administrative, office, and systems support that helps the Verrado Community Life Team operate smoothly.
This is an opportunity to combine customer service, organization, and problem-solving in a highly visible role where your follow-through directly shapes the resident experience.

What You'll Do
Create a Welcoming Resident Experience
- Enthusiastically greet residents, guests, vendors, volunteers, and other visitors to the Verrado Community Association office.
- Provide first-level assistance by answering questions, resolving routine needs, and connecting visitors or callers with the appropriate team member when additional support is needed.
- Support residents with community web portal registrations, account questions, resident verification, and facility access cards for Verrado and Victory District.
- Communicate policies and procedures clearly while handling questions or tense interactions with tact, professionalism, and poise.
Support the Community Life Team
- Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support for the Verrado Community Life Team.
- Coordinate calendars, appointments, conference room use, meeting setup, audiovisual needs, conference calls, and catering.
- Support quarterly board meetings and other community or team meetings through room reservations, setup, and logistical coordination.
- Assist with team projects and contribute wherever needed to support an efficient, collaborative operation.
Keep the Office Running Smoothly
- Coordinate office supplies, stationery, postage, kitchen supplies, and other workplace needs.
- Maintain office equipment and coordinate service or maintenance when needed.
- Sort and distribute mail and help manage building operations for the Verrado Community Association office.
- Maintain organized office policies, standard operating procedures, and records.
Manage Systems and Important Details
- Operate and maintain resident verification, facility access, and database systems with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Manage electronic retention of owner title documents in accordance with recordkeeping requirements.
- Enter and maintain community information in applicable systems, including new park names.
- Balance multiple requests, calls, and interruptions while ensuring timely and dependable follow-through.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or a degree is a plus.
- Customer service, administrative assistance, front office, hospitality, or similar professional support experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort assisting and educating homeowners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities with frequent interruptions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and confidently use databases and resident-facing technology.
- A collaborative, personable, tactful, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Experience working with volunteers, clubs, committees, neighborhood groups, or community associations is a plus.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Full-time, on-site position at Verrado in Buckeye, Arizona.
- Ability to attend occasional after-hours events as needed.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
