Seasonal Groundskeeper / Gardener

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Groundskeeper/Gardener to help maintain the beauty and appearance of our property throughout the growing season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in creating well-maintained landscapes, and is comfortable performing a variety of landscaping and property maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Plant, weed, mulch, water, and maintain flower beds, gardens, and landscaped areas. 
• Trim shrubs and hedges, edge walkways and paths
• Remove leaves, branches, and other debris to keep grounds clean and attractive. 
• Monitor plant health and report signs of pests, disease, or irrigation issues. 
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. 
• Assist with seasonal planting and landscape improvements. 
• Perform general outdoor maintenance and support other property upkeep projects as needed. 
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working order. 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, groundskeeping, or a related field is preferred but not required. 
• Knowledge of plants, flowers, shrubs, and basic horticultural practices is a plus. 
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. 
• Dependable,  self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. 
• Valid driver's license preferred. 

Schedule:

• Seasonal position 
• Full-time or part-time hours available 
• Weekends or holidays may be required depending on property needs
