POSITION SUMMARY 

Supervises a production shift or department, directing team members to safely meet daily production targets and quality standards. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Supervise and direct production team members on assigned shift/department 
• Assign work, monitor progress, and address production issues in real time 
• Enforce safety rules and address unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately 
• Ensure quality standards are met and non-conformances are reported 
• Conduct daily shift start meetings and communicate priorities 
• Manage time and attendance, overtime, and shift coverage 
• Report daily production results to Production Manager 

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred 
• 4+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years supervisory experience 
• Strong communication and leadership skills 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience in metal fabrication or heavy manufacturing 
• Lean manufacturing training 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT 

Manufacturing plant environment with full shift production floor presence
