Summary
The Data & Analytics Manager is responsible for building and leading the analytics function that powers engage2learn’s products and services. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role is focused on transforming the data generated by GroweLab, the 7Cs student perception survey, the Data Triangle, and ReadyLab into insights that demonstrate partner impact, inform product decisions, and strengthen e2L’s ability to serve schools and districts.
This is a product-facing, mission-critical role. The Data & Analytics Manager is the primary owner of how e2L measures what matters — for partners, for learners, and for the ongoing development of e2L’s platform and service offerings.
Responsibilities
Product & Platform Analytics
- Own the analytics infrastructure for GroweLab — designing and maintaining dashboards and reports that surface platform usage, engagement trends, feature adoption, and learner progress.
- Partner with the Product Manager to provide data that informs GroweLab’s roadmap, prioritization decisions, and feature performance evaluation.
- Work with the QA Analyst and engineering team to ensure data pipelines are accurate, reliable, and well-governed across GroweLab’s systems.
- Translate platform data into clear, actionable insights for product, delivery, and leadership teams.
- Monitor content engagement within GroweLab in collaboration with the Content Manager to identify what’s working and where gaps exist.
Partner Impact & Outcome Measurement
- Lead the analytical interpretation of e2L’s survey and measurement tools — including the 7Cs student perception survey, the Data Triangle, and ReadyLab — translating results into insights partners can act on.
- Develop partner-facing reporting frameworks that demonstrate e2L’s impact on educator growth, instructional practice, and student outcomes.
- Support the delivery and partner success teams with data that helps partners understand their implementation progress and trajectory.
- Build and maintain visualizations and reports that make complex outcome data accessible to district leaders and school administrators.
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Solutions Analyst to design data solutions that address specific partner needs and questions.
Product Development Support
- Serve as the data resource for new product and feature development — ensuring that measurement, tracking, and reporting are built into the design of e2L’s tools from the start.
- Identify trends and patterns across the partner portfolio that reveal opportunities for platform improvement, new features, or service gaps.
- Support the integration of Education Elements’ data assets and reporting frameworks into e2L’s analytics infrastructure.
- Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer and executive team on research, benchmarking, and market intelligence that informs strategic decisions.
Data Governance & Quality
- Establish and maintain data governance standards, taxonomy, and integrity protocols across all product and service data systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across GroweLab, survey platforms, and connected systems.
- Build the organization’s internal data literacy by creating accessible reporting tools and supporting teammates in interpreting and using data effectively.
- Translate complex data into plain language for non-technical stakeholders, including partners, district leaders, and executive leadership.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Education Research, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics, learning analytics, or educational measurement role.
- Experience working with learning platform data, student/educator outcome data, or survey analytics.
- Expertise in Stata or other software packages used for data management, statistical analysis, and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to build analytics functions from the ground up or within a scaling organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences including educators and district leaders.
- Familiarity with K–12 education data, assessment frameworks, or education research strongly preferred.
