Commercial Construction Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Construction Administrative Assistant to support our Commercial Construction team with the day-to-day coordination of construction projects. This role assists with project documentation, purchasing, scheduling, and communication with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to help keep projects organized and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Construction Manager.
  • Maintain project files, permits, contracts, and other construction documents.
  • Coordinate schedules, inspections, and subcontractor communications.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and material requests.
  • Track project costs and assist with budget reporting.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and project documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support construction operations.

Qualifications

  • Administrative experience; construction industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with project management or accounting software is a plus.
