The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for the building and fitting of parts for injection molds.  The Tool & Die Maker will be welding, brazing and silver soldering for repairs, machining builds up areas back to spec, complete teardown, cleaning and inspection of all mold components, measure and document repairs and modifications. Be able to make corrections to tools with or without drawings.

Your Day-to-Day:

1. Preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molds to include: building and fitting parts for injection molds, welding, blazing and silver soldering for repairs needing build up.
2. Machining build up areas back to specifications.
3. Complete teardown, cleaning and inspection of all mold components.
4. Measure and document repairs and modifications.
5. Building parts to tolerances of .0005 or less.
6. Make correction to tools with or without drawings and/or measure, create drawings for tools that may not have drawings.
7. Coordinate with engineering staff for CAD blueprints.
8. General housekeeping duties including sweeping, etc. to keep all work areas clean.
9. Compliance with ISO 9001 standard
10. Commitment to 5s

What we would love about you: 

1. High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
2. 2-3 years of experience with mold building and/or mold repair
3. 2-3 years machine shop experience
4. Experience with injection molding desired
5. Able to run 3 axis (manual) milling machine, lathe, surface grinder, CNC (Mazak preferred) EDM machine and shop presses.
6. Able to read, write and communicate in English
7. Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Experience:
