It is a strategic role that partners directly with executive leadership to evaluate operational performance, identify trends, improve efficiencies, strengthen accountability, and provide meaningful business insights that support informed decision-making across the organization.

Position Summary

The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for evaluating operational performance, employee productivity, workflow efficiency, quality standards, compliance, and business processes throughout West Coast Trial Lawyers.

This position leverages business intelligence platforms, workforce analytics, case management systems, productivity software, and quality assurance methodologies to provide executive leadership with objective reporting and actionable recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness.

Working closely with Human Resources, Operations, Department Managers, and Executive Leadership, the Quality Control Analyst plays a critical role in promoting accountability, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and an exceptional employee and client experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Performance Analysis

  • Analyze employee and departmental productivity metrics.
  • Evaluate operational workflows for consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Monitor departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify operational trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations that improve productivity and organizational performance.
  • Assist leadership in establishing measurable performance standards.
  • Evaluate workload distribution and operational capacity.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through comprehensive reporting and analytics.

Quality Assurance Audits

Conduct detailed quality reviews and operational audits involving:

  • Case management activities

Business Analytics & Executive Reporting

Develop executive-level reports, scorecards, and dashboards that provide leadership with meaningful insights.

Present findings in a clear, concise, professional, and actionable format that supports executive decision-making.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Data Analytics, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred; however, relevant professional experience will be given greater consideration.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, business analytics, workforce analytics, operations management, compliance, auditing, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations that improve organizational performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and operational risks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and business information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a law firm or other professional services environment.
  • Experience using platforms such as Teramind, Filevine, DOMO, Paylocity, Microsoft 365, RingCentral/Dialpad, Foundation AI, or comparable business intelligence and workforce analytics systems.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and operational reporting.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies, or process optimization.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other business intelligence and analytics tools.
