Position Summary

The Head Varsity Wrestling Coach is responsible for leading and developing the Marian Central Catholic Wrestling Program while promoting academic success, character, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence. The coach will provide leadership for student-athletes and assistant coaches, oversee all aspects of the program, and uphold the mission and values of Marian Central Catholic High School.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of the varsity wrestling program. 
• Plan and conduct practices and competitions. 
• Develop student-athletes both on and off the mat. 
• Promote academic achievement, discipline, and sportsmanship. 
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches. 
• Ensure compliance with all school and IHSA rules and policies. 
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and administration. 
• Support the growth of the wrestling program through community engagement and youth development. 

 Qualifications

• Previous wrestling coaching experience preferred. 
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
• Knowledge of IHSA rules and regulations. 
• Commitment to the mission and values of Marian Central Catholic High School
