Job Description: Future Hazleton Branch, Full time, Member Service Representative/Teller/Bi-Lingual
The Member Service Representative (Teller) serves as the frontline representative of the credit union, providing outstanding service to members while accurately processing financial transactions. This position is responsible for handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account inquiries, and other member service requests while promoting credit union products and services that meet members' financial needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional member service by greeting and assisting members in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, including but not limited to:
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Verify member identity and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Answer member questions regarding accounts, products, services, and electronic banking options.
- Identify opportunities to refer members to appropriate credit union products and services, including loans, deposit accounts, debit cards, online banking, and other financial solutions.
- Assist members with opening and maintaining accounts as needed.
- Resolve routine member concerns and escalate complex issues to management when appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information and adhere to all security procedures.
- Support branch operations and contribute to achieving branch goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:
-Must be able to understand and communicate in both English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer service or cash handling role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic mathematical and problem solving skills.
- Computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
