Key Responsibility
? Lead business process improvement initiatives that streamline workflows,
eliminate waste, improve throughput, and increase operational efficiency using
Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. 30%
? Analyze operational performance, identify opportunities to improve customer
service, product availability, product quality, and cost through data analysis, root
cause investigation, and cross-functional problem solving. 20%
? Serve as the Super User for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Tracker, driving
system optimization, process standardization, reporting improvements, user
support, testing, and implementation of new functionality.20%
? Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, Sales, Customer Service, and
external suppliers to implement process improvements, evaluate new
technologies, and execute operational improvement projects. 15%
? Develop and maintain standard work, process documentation, business
procedures, validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), training materials, and support
change management initiatives.10%
? Research and evaluate new equipment, technologies, software, and operational
best practices that improve business performance and support strategic initiatives. 5%
This position is ideal for an Industrial Engineer who has established a strong foundation in manufacturing and continuous improvement and is looking to take the next step in their career by leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives and becoming a key contributor to operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering required. Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline will also be considered.
- 3–6 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, demonstrating increasing responsibility for process improvement and operational performance.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Continuous Improvement experience utilizing Lean principles and tools such as 5S/6S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, or Kanban.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and successfully implement solutions that improve quality, productivity, customer service, or operational efficiency.
- Experience working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing execution, production management, or warehouse management software;.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a desire to learn new business processes, systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
