Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on developing new business and helping customers succeed? Wagner is looking for a Regional Account Executive to grow our presence within the architectural and construction markets by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering industry-leading solutions.
As the face of Wagner within your assigned territory, you'll work closely with architects, designers, contractors, distributors, and end users to develop specifications, generate new business, and help bring projects from concept to completion.
What You'll Do
- Develop and grow relationships with architects, contractors, distributors, and key decision-makers
- Prospect for new business and identify project opportunities within your territory
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Generate quotations and work with internal teams to develop winning proposals
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve territory sales goals
- Represent Wagner at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Estimating, Engineering, and Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of outside sales or business development experience
- Experience in architectural products, construction, metal fabrication, or building materials preferred
- Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand project specifications is a plus
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a sales territory
- Ability to travel up to 25%
