Regional Medical Director (Physician)
Description

Lead care the way it was meant to be.

Most leadership roles pull you away from patients — or bury you in metrics that don’t matter. At Gather Health, we built something different on purpose.

We’re a Social Primary Care organization serving clinically and socially complex older adults in underserved Boston communities. Here, you’ll lead clinical teams, shaping care delivery, and building something that lasts.

This is a clinical leadership role with real impact. Full stop.

What makes this role different

Lead clinicians — not just operations

You’ll mentor and develop Primary Care Providers across multiple clinics, supporting them in delivering relationship-based, whole-person care. You’re not managing from a distance — you’re in it with them.

Stay connected to patients

This is predominantly a leadership role with a clinical care component, where you will maintain a small patient panel to stay closely connected to the patient experience.

A care model designed for outcomes — not volume

We operate in a value-based model. That means your leadership is focused on quality, access, and outcomes — not throughput or visit counts.

Build and scale something meaningful

We’re growing. You’ll partner with senior leadership to open new clinics, develop teams, and scale a care model designed specifically for older adults with complex needs.

A real care team behind every clinician

Our model surrounds providers with support — including Gather Guides, Medical Technician Partners (EMTs/Paramedics), and integrated operations partners — so your teams can focus on care, not chaos.

Our mission

We exist to partner with patients in building their best lives. We believe true health means treating the whole person — clinically, socially, and holistically.

Our goal is to create generational health and equity for communities across the country, one patient at a time.
