The Warehouse Associate will collaborate closely with other Warehouse Associates, Receiving Inspection, Branches and Planners to ensure material requirements are met accurately and on time.
Essential Functions
· Process, package, and ship orders accurately
· Organize stocks and maintain inventory
· Inspect products for defects and damages
· Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
· Organize warehouse space
· Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
· Check, verify and fill out customer invoices
· Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
· Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
· Might use material handling equipment to move parts and components from one work or storage area to another as required.
· Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area.
· Frequent walking, bending, reaching and lifting required
· Assists other warehouse associates as assigned.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Work Environment
· Regular exposure to moving mechanical components, airborne fumes, and particles
· Exposure to heat, cold, wet and snow conditions
· Moderate noise levels
Experience / Knowledge
· High school diploma/GED
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
· At least one-year previous warehouse experience
· Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
· Demonstrated good problem-solving skills.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience of, or exposure to, a similar
· production/manufacturing environment.
· Good working knowledge of MS Office and Suite
· Current forklift certification
· At least one year’s previous experience with hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
